Liquid soap d'Alep - Savonnerie de Bormes

 Savon d'Alep was the first hard soap in the world. Made with no artificial additives and chemicals, just pure olive oil, sweet bay oil , it dates back thousands of years and where it was made in Aleppo in Syria. The secret of the Aleppo soap properties lies in the use of olive and bay-tree oils. After saponification, the paste is dried during several months and takes its varations of color, from green to brown.
