Officinea was born in 2006 in the result of reckless dream and obsession of 10 years long. 

… of the dream to create cosmetics different from those, which are piling in shop shelves. Dreams to unite under the brand “made in France” all the cosmetics of highest effectiveness, cosmetics, which in its manufacturing complies with the words: ethics, ecology, biology and beauty... cosmetics of the 21^st century.

Officinea was founded in the result of reckless wish to realize:

… the idea to propose cosmetics to the customer, which he or she sees for the first time and has never heard about, cosmetics of optimal quality, which resource will be the combination of ecologically clean nature and up-to-date achievements of biology, cosmetics, which phased production, starting from concept to diffusing process, will be elaborated at the top intellectual, inventive and innovative level.

… peculiarities of human skin, its functions, reasons of its natural and early maturing, its reaction to light, to pollution of environment, to oxidation and aggressive chemicals and climatic conditions, knowledge allowing to understand the nature of principal active agents and ingredients, which would be the base of effective cosmetics, cosmetics of beauty and healthy way of life.

This dream, this wish and this knowledge made it possible for Claire GAGLIOLO, 45 years old, PhD on cosmetology and pharmacology, to realize and create the COSMETICS, rare, noble, ethnically correct and environmentally friendly, which is today proposed for the Russian consumer for the first time.
Officinea is the cosmetics of ethnic nature, transparent one, which is expressed the manufacturer’s openness as for the formula of its compositions for the user, these cosmetics is environmentally free in its fabrication:

… transparent in manufacturing methods: in confirmation to the fact that the whole collection of the brand is labelled with Cosmébio and certified with ECOCERT – each part of fabrication corresponds to this fact: all the components of the good’s packing are bio-decomposable and can be recycled, including packing elements such as bands form cotton for decoration of the packing. That is why the brand refused making testers, since their conditioning does not meet the ecological standards and cannot be recycled or bio-decomposed.

Officinea trademark was created in France, in the country with extensive experience in high quality cosmetics, in the country, which is rich in talented scientists, working in the sphere of healing cosmetics development.

France is one of the first countries, starting serious investment into biological surveys aiming to manufacture environmentally friendly, absolutely harmless BIO cosmetics, organic, transparent, vegetable, natural and healthy cosmetics.

The major feature of the brand is the fact that the brand relied on biological surveys of pharmacists and biologists when creating biological formulae for its collection.

The aim of these surveys was search and selection of principal active agents, those basic components of cosmetic agents, which play the main role and bring expected effect to your skin.

Selection of these active agents, in accordance with standards of the French certificate ECOCERT and label Bio - Cosmébio, was laid on the la team of the brand, consisting of pharmacists, cosmetologists, chemists and biologists and located in Antibes (Alpes-Maritimes region) and in Rennes-Mirabeau (Bouches-du-Rhône region). They conducted examinations and thorough selection of those active agents, which were selected for the basic composition of the brand’s cosmetic agents.
Surveys on texture of agents, as to touch, to smell, to absorbing capacity, to capacity of retention on skin (stability of emulsifying base), and mainly to effectiveness of their effect on skin were conducted in the lab, certified by ECOCERT, and products had been tested prior to the whole range of the brand was put to production, too.

Thus, we dare to state that the whole collection of the brand was reasoned, examined, created and fabricated exclusively in France.

Starting form concept to fabrication inclusive, at all stages of production, the brand Bio Officinea executes strict ecological and biological control:

- Verification of quality of basic products;

- Effect of the packing facility content (bottle, pump, tube) on the bio-content of the agent;

- Control of sanitation of principal agents;

- Control of stability of agents depending on seasonal temperature change;

- Dermatological control is also carried out in pharma-lab of the brand Bio Officinea;

- aiming to prevent allergic rash on skin, irritation of mucous membrane of eyes, the brand executes double control of products on skin of voluntary patients (not on animals). It is a supplementary step from the side of the brand, as the European certification is satisfied with, as a rule, results of single testing.
- one of the major control positions is the verification, made by the brand, of products’ stability in time and their preservation. As the brand’s products presuppose exclusion of chemical preservatives use, the brand uses only natural preservatives, which counteraction to bacteria is tested in laboratory conditions of the brand. Hereby in order to increase effectiveness and protect its customers against troubles while using the product without chemical preservatives, the brand carries out control on the 5^th strain, that is not an obligation according European standards of bacteriological control. The control process is made on the base of the specialized bacteriological lab in Bordeaux (Gironde area).

Fabrication process and conditioning of the Officinea brand products are made on the base of certified ECOCERT factory-atelier, situated in Rennes-Mirabeau town of Bouches-du-Rhône region. This is the most fundamental stage of the brands’ products fabrication.
